Accident Waiver and Release of Liability

By agreeing to this Waiver, I assume all risk for myself and those registered on my account while participating in or spectating activities with Knightsbridge Fencing Club Dubai. I acknowledge that fencing involves physical activity and carries risk of personal injury. I waive and release liability against the Club, its staff, volunteers, and representatives for any injuries, accidents, damages, or losses sustained while participating in or spectating activities and events, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the Club or its representatives.

Physical Fitness

I certify that all registered members are medically fit to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a doctor. I understand that fencing involves risks, including unanticipated injuries. I consent to the Club providing first aid or arranging medical treatment if deemed necessary. All participants must have their own medical insurance to join activities.

Communicable Diseases

I acknowledge the risks associated with attending a sports venue, including exposure to communicable diseases (e.g., COVID-19). I voluntarily assume these risks on behalf of myself and those registered on my account. I agree that the Club cannot be held liable for infections contracted during participation, except where due to proven negligence.

Damages

I accept responsibility for any damages caused to the facility by myself or those on my account. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Club, facility owners, and staff from claims resulting from such damages.

General

I shall indemnify and hold harmless the Club against all claims, damages, or costs arising from participation by myself or those on my account. This Waiver constitutes the sole agreement between parties regarding participation. Any prior agreements, oral or written, are void.

I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS, AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND ALL REGISTERED MEMBERS ON MY ACCOUNT.
