THE FOUNDERS

Our foundation is built on a lifetime of elite fencing experience and a shared passion for excellence. Co-founders Julianna and Tamas bring decades of expertise as both high-level competitors and dedicated coaches.

 

Julianna, who began fencing at the age of 9 in Budapest, where fencing is a national tradition, rose through the ranks to become World Number One, a senior World Silver Medallist, and European Bronze Medallist. She is highly regarded in the global fencing community for her deep knowledge of the sport, exceptional ability to cultivate strong relationships and develop champions. Tamas, a former member of the Hungarian national team and a U20 national champion, World Military Championship Bronze Medallist went on to coach athletes to international podiums, including a European Champion and European Silver Medallist for Team Great Britain.

Since launching the original Knightsbridge Fencing Club in London in 2009, they’ve created a nurturing, world-class training environment where young fencers can thrive under expert guidance and international standards. Their hands-on leadership and specialized programs for each age group ensure every student receives not only top-tier instruction but also the inspiration to make their own success stories.
