A complete fencing kit is a significant and highly specialised purchase. Protective ratings, sizing, weapon length, electrical components, availability and international shipping can make the process unfamiliar for families entering the sport.

Knightsbridge therefore provides the highest quality equipment required for regular club training. Every newcomer can discover fencing properly before deciding whether to invest in a personal set.

As children progress, owning their own equipment offers greater consistency, comfort and familiarity. We have simplified that next step into two carefully selected sets.
Personal equipment is encouraged as fencers progress. Access to club equipment remains available for regular training.
FENCING KIT
Two levels of protection
We have created two carefully selected starter sets to support fencers at different stages of their development.
The Training Starter Set is the more accessible option, designed for regular club training and the early stages of competition. It includes protective clothing with a lower Newton resistance, offering a practical introduction to owning a complete personal fencing kit.

The International Competition Set provides the highest level of protection required by the Fédération Internationale d’Escrime — the International Fencing Federation (FIE). Its higher-Newton protective clothing meets the standards required for international competition and is designed for fencers progressing towards advanced competitive fencing.
